Tiger Woods The 1997 Masters
I've turned this color chrome into a classic black and white print. Tiger and his caddy Fluff Cowan wait their turn to tee off on the third at Augusta National during the second day of competition at the 1997 Masters. Forty eight hours later Tiger would be celebrating his first major championship. At 21 years old, Woods became the youngest player to win the Masters. His 12-stroke margin of victory over runner-up Tom Kite was the largest in the tournament's history at the time. He became the first African-American to win the Masters, and he paid tribute to pioneers like Charlie Sifford and Lee Elder who paved the way.
This print is available in three sizes. The slide shows the original crop as it was shot. The accompanying image shows the approximate print crop.
The crops are approximate and allow for a border to be used in framing/mounting and for the title/signature. All prints larger than 8.5x11" will be titled, numbered and signed. All prints larger than the 8.5X11" are offered as limited editions. No more prints of a particular edition will be printed once it has sold out.
The original slide is also available for purchase. There is, obviously, only ONE original slide available. It is ONE OF A KIND. Once that one original slide is sold it will be pulled from the shop.
You will need to read the terms and conditions and check the appropriate box prior to paying for your purchase. Shipping within the USA is free via USPS Ground Advantage.
