Tiger's first victory at the British Open was not quite the beating he gave the rest of the boys at the US Open (winning by 15 strokes) but it was pretty close...runner-ups Ernie Els and Thomas Bjorn finished only 8 strokes behind the champ.

Bjorn neatly summed up the imperious performance of Woods, who did not find a single bunker during the Championship.

“It certainly looks like somebody out there is playing golf on a different planet than the rest of us,” said Bjorn. “When he brings his A-game, he’s just in a different class.”

Woods, who went on to win the PGA Championship for a third successive major trophy, was undoubtedly in a different class throughout 2000, a year he would end with nine PGA Tour wins, 17 top-five finishes in 20 starts and a record-breaking scoring average of 68.17.

He duly completed the ‘Tiger Slam’ in 2001 by winning the Masters to hold all four major titles at once, but 2000 would go down in history as his finest year, which included his most convincing victory in golf’s original Championship.

This print of Tiger teeing off during his round on Saturday at St Andrews is available in three sizes. The slide shows the original crop as it was shot. The accompanying image shows the approximate print crop.

The crops are approximate and allow for a border to be used in framing/mounting and for the title/signature. All prints larger than 8.5x11" will be titled, numbered and signed. All prints larger than the 8.5X11" are offered as limited editions. No more prints of a particular edition will be printed once it has sold out.

The original slide is also available for purchase. There is, obviously, only ONE original slide available. It is ONE OF A KIND. Once that one original slide is sold it will be pulled from the shop.
