Tiger Woods Print: 18 green 2001 Masters

This image was made after Tiger Woods holed out on the 18th green to win the 2001 Masters. Tiger captured his second Masters title that year, winning by two shots. More importantly, it was the fourth consecutive major title for Woods, completing the Tiger Slam. He finished at 16 under for the week, which at the time was the third-best, 72-hole score in Masters history. I had followed Tiger and his group that Sunday finally making my way up to a spot on the edge of the 18th green. It was probably Tiger's most understated celebration of a Masters victory but still a powerful vision. The code at the bottom of the original slide mount notates my Sports Illustrated assignment number (X62881), the day of the shoot (4th day=Sunday) and the frame and film roll number...the 25th roll of film I shot that day. This is the 9th frame from that particular roll of film. 

The print is offered in three sizes. The slide shows the original crop as it was shot. The accompanying image shows the approximate print crop. 

The crops are approximate and allow for a border to be used in framing/mounting and for the title/signature. All prints larger than 8.5x11" will be titled, numbered and signed. All prints larger than the 8.5X11" are offered as limited editions. No more prints of a particular edition will be printed once it has sold out.

The original slide is also available for purchase. There is, obviously, only ONE original slide available. It is ONE OF A KIND. Once that one original slide is sold it will be pulled from the shop.
